How can I switch to a different BASE Prepaid?

There used to be two BASE Prepaid tariffs. You could choose between:

  • extra minutes to BASE numbers, or 
  • extra minutes to all networks. 

Now we only have one Prepaid tariff.  Read all about it.

Would you like to switch from an old prepaid to a new one? You can, in the My BASE app, the customer zone or via SMS.

In the My BASE app

  • Sign into the My BASE app. Go to ‘Change tariff plan’. Select the desired tariff and confirm your choice.

In the customer zone

  • Sign into the customer zone. Go to ‘Change tariff plan’. Select the desired tariff and confirm your choice.

Via SMS

  • Text CHANGE to 1914.

You will receive a confirmation message from us once we have processed your request. We transfer your remaining BASE call value to you new BASE tariff.

Good to know

  • Be sure to use up your free minutes / text messages before you switch. Otherwise they will be permanently lost.
  • Your free data will be transfered.
  • You enjoy these new benefits after your first top up.
