General and special conditions - Monthly plans

The BASE rates include VAT and are subject to the general terms and conditions and special conditions of Telenet Group bvba. They are reserved for personal and private use only. After the first minute, you will be charged per second. Any inclusive minutes from BASE to BASE are only valid for use within Belgium. Any other inclusive minutes and text messages are applicable for use within Belgium (to Belgian numbers) and the EU zone (to numbers within the EU zone); any inclusive mobile data are applicable for use within Belgium and the EU zone. The international rates can be found here. Calling and texting to special numbers, as well as the use of third-party services, is not included; this usage will always be charged on top of any credit and/or bundles. To find out the rates for calls to special numbers (070, 0900, 1207,...), please contact us via the customer zone or call 1999 via BASE (free in Belgium) or +32 (0)486 19 1999 via any other network (subject to charge).

Mobile subscriptions for individuals are without fixed term contract. You may terminate your contract at any time.

Special conditions for BASE monthly plans

€ 15, € 25, € 35 and € 45 (Based on you)

Non-used credit of your monthly plan will be carried over to the following month. The next month, you will first consume the unused credit of the previous month. Non-used credit may be carried over for one month only. In the event of a change in tariff plan or termination of the contract, the carried-over credit is not taken into account for pro rata invoicing / refund.

Unlimited calls to BASE: unlimited number of call minutes to BASE customers. Offer restricted to normal private use, as defined below.

Internet Anywhere

This offer is only valid for the data transfer on iPad, tablet and PC in Belgium. If you use this specific data SIM card for calls and SMS, you will be charged € 0.17/MIN and € 0.10/SMS. The amount of the contract will be automatically added to your invoice each month. The € 5 discount are valid as long as you have a BASE subscription of minimum € 7 on the same account number. If you exceed the monthly volume included in your bundle, the speed of your connection will go down to 128 Kbps (indicative speed). If you don't use the MB of data transfer in Belgium, the remaining MBs will not be carried over to the following month. You will be automatically notified when you have reached the limit of your bundle. Telenet Group is not responsible for any additional costs if you don't receive the notification (iPad), if you don't read the notification or if the most recent data traffic is not included in the notification. Call 1999 to deactivate the Internet Anywhere option.

Special conditions for options

Option [unlimited calling]

Option only available for customers with a Based on you monthly plan. The price of the selected option is automatically added to your invoice each month. By activating this option you enter an open-ended contract which you can cancel at no charge whenever you like. However, you can only activate the option once per invoicing period.

Unlimited calling is restricted to normal personal use, as defined here.

World Internet options

The amount of the selected Internet World option will be automatically added to your invoice each month. The rates are only valid abroad with one of the partner networks. After you used the MBs data included in your monthly bundle, the amount of data transferred exceeding this volume will be charged per KB at € 0.24/MB.

Spotify Premium

The Spotify service can be used via Spotify applications for computers, smartphones and tablets; it requires the user to create a Spotify account associated with a login and password. Spotify Premium is restricted for personal and private use. Info and conditions on this page or on Spotify.com. Telenet Group reserves the right to modify and/or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Spotify offer at any time. Telenet Group disclaims any liability or responsibility as to the compatibility of your smartphone with the Spotify service. The amount of data (MB) used in connection with the use of the Spotify service via your smartphone is billed in accordance with the rates set out in your mobile Internet tariff plan.

BASE Cloud

  1. The BASE Cloud option is reserved for BASE customers with a monthly plan, and is for private and personal use only.
  2. The use of the BASE Cloud service via BASE Cloud applications for PCs, smartphones and tablets requires the prior activation of BASE Cloud via SMS or via a BASE shop, followed by the installation of the BASE Cloud app associated with a username and password.
  3. Telenet Group reserves the right to temporarily or permanently modify and/or suspend the BASE Cloud offer at any moment. Telenet Group declines all responsibility for the compatibility of your smartphone, tablet, PC or any other support with the BASE Cloud service.
  4. The amount of data (MB) used in connection with the BASE Cloud service via your smartphone will be billed according to the tariff for your option or monthly plan/prepaid card.
  5. Upon termination of your BASE Cloud option, and only in the event that you remain a Telenet Group customer, you have 30 days to view and/or retrieve all your files stored on BASE Cloud. Upon termination of your contract with Telenet Group, all your files will be immediately deleted from BASE Cloud, so in this case ensure that you don't forget to recover all your data before terminating your contract with Telenet Group.

BlackBerry users

The mobile Internet, included with these prepaid cards, is only valid if your BlackBerry works with OS 10.

If your BlackBerry is running under OS 5, 6 or 7, you will need a specific option. This option is only valid for data transfer in Belgium and strictly reserved for a usage on a mobile phone or smartphone, all other use is not allowed. This option is automatically added to your monthly invoice and if you surpass the volume of MB included in your option, the MB you use on top of your option will be invoiced at € 0.10/MB. The non-used MB can't be transferred to the next month.


To benefit from 4G you have to be in an area with BASE 4G network coverage. To use 4G, you need a compatible 4G device.

* Terms and conditions for normal use in the framework of an unlimited offer

To be able to guarantee optimal terms and conditions of use for you, our unlimited offers are exclusively restricted to normal personal and private use. This normal use allows you very intensive use. Only in the case of fraud (including commercial use of the contract, in particular for call center or simbox purposes, and/or making this available to third parties), dishonest use or, more generally, use that is not in accordance with the use that could be expected of a customer who concludes a contract for mobile telephony (such as in particular the use of your mobile as a babyphone) will the terms not be applied.

Your use will, for example, be deemed fraudulent in the following cases:

  • You regularly call more than 6 hours a day and/or 30 hours a week;
  • You regularly call more than 3 hours without interruption and/or you make calls that are immediately resumed after being interrupted;
  • You send more than 350 text messages a day and/or 10.000 text messages a month;
  • You use more than 24 GB a month or 2 GB a day.

In all these cases Telenet Group reserves the right to restrict the delivery of services or to suspend and/or terminate your contract.
