How does the BASE TV app work?
With the BASE TV app, you can watch wherever and however you want: at home or on the go, on your smartphone or tablet. Do you want to know on which devices the BASE TV app is available? Read this article.
Watching
In the menu, select Watch TV. Click your favourite channel or see which programme is currently playing live on each channel.
The TV guide gives you a handy overview of what's on TV. Pick your programme and start watching!
Watch programmes up to 36 hours after broadcast. Note: Replay rights are not available for all TV programmes.
Recordings
You can record up to 200 hours' worth of programmes. All the recordings are stored in the cloud for 60 days. That's very convenient, because it means you can use the BASE TV app to watch your recordings on any device you like!
My TV
An overview of all your recordings, your scheduled recordings and available recording capacity.
Gather all your favourite programmes, films and series in one place so they'll be easy to find later.
Unexpectedly stopped watching? Then you will find your film, series or recording here. The next episode will be waiting for you too.
Note: You must have watched for at least a minute before the programme will appear in the list.
Set the app's language, unlock the app via a fingerprint or facial recognition, or set an age limit. You do it all yourself. Click the icon at the top left and choose Settings.
Settings
An overview of all your recordings, your scheduled recordings and available recording capacity.
All films, series and programmes are assigned an age category. With your PIN code (9876 by default), you can set the age limit for each user.
Via edit, you can name your box and get an overview of the available functions.
Based on your viewing history, you get personalized advertisements and personalized recommendations for programmes, films and series.
