BASE (as part of Telenet Group) has turned over your outstanding Telenet Group debt to Alektum. You will have to pay your outstanding balance to Alektum, and no longer to Telenet Group.

More about debt sale

In a debt sale, ownership of the debt is transferred to another, purchasing party (in this case Alektum). Alektum is sole owner and, after notification of the sale to the debtor, a payment obligation is only discharged upon receipt by Alektum.

The debts are sold inclusive of all associated rights. As such, Alektum has the right, with respect to the debts they have purchased, to charge compensation, interest and other charges allowed by law on all amounts due. 

Telenet Group and Alektum are independent controllers and will always act in accordance with the applicable legal obligations associated with data protection.
