More about debt sale

In a debt sale, ownership of the debt is transferred to another, purchasing party (in this case Intrum). Intrum is sole owner and, after notification of the sale to the debtor, a payment obligation is only discharged upon receipt by Intrum.

The debts are sold inclusive of all associated rights. As such, Intrum has the right, with respect to the debts they have purchased, to charge compensation, interest and other charges allowed by law on all amounts due.

Telenet Group and Intrum are independent controllers and will always act in accordance with the applicable legal obligations associated with data protection.
