Picture but no sound on my TV
Check these things first...
- Test the volume button on both your BASE remote and TV remote.
- Is your TV set to mute? If so, switch that off.
- Is your HDMI cable still connected to the correct input on your TV?
- Are your TV's HDMI settings set to HDMI Standard (and not to: UHD mode, UHD Color, Enhanced or HDMI enhanced format)?
Are you using an external sound system?
- Is the external sound system on?
- Is the external sound system set to the correct input?
- Is the volume set high enough?
- Is the mute off?
Check the settings of your TV box
- Press the house button and then the gear.
- Then go to Picture and sound.
- Set Dolby Audio > Off.
