BASE remote control no longer responds
I can't change channels
Maybe your BASE TV remote control is no longer paired to your BASE TV box.
- Remove the batteries from your remote control and reinstall them. Also try new batteries.
- Unplug the power lead from your TV box and the mains socket. Insert the cable again after ten seconds. It may take a while for the TV box to fully start up.
- Point the Telenet TV remote control at your TV box and hold the 0 and
buttons for at least ten seconds. Your remote control will be re-paired with your TV box.
Volume cannot be adjusted
Your BASE remote is no longer paired to your TV or sound system. Try to re-pair them.
- Press the house button and then the gear.
- Go to Picture and sound > Pair remote control to sound system and follow the on-screen instructions. You can only use one remote control per TV box.
Still not solved? Then your TV or sound system is not compatible with the BASE TV box. Use the remote control of your TV or sound system to adjust the volume.
Pairing remote control to your TV or amplifier
- Hold the standby button on the front of your BASE TV box for five seconds. You see the pairing screen for the remote control.
- Point the BASE remote control at your TV box and hold the 0 and buttons for at least ten seconds. Your remote control will be paired.
- The pairing screen disappears and the light on the remote control flashes. It may take some time to complete the pairing. A message will appear as soon as your remote control is successfully paired.
Still not solved? Then your TV or sound system is not compatible with the BASE TV box. Use the remote control of your TV or sound system to adjust the volume.
