Do you want to surf, text, or call from abroad? That’s when you use roaming. Your phone connects to a local network. This way, you can keep calling, texting, and surfing while abroad, but at different rates. That way, you stay reachable no matter where you are in the world.
Roaming usually comes with extra costs because your provider uses foreign networks. The costs vary by country and by type of use (calls, texts, data).
Thanks to the European “Roam Like at Home” regulation, you don’t pay extra charges and don’t need a roaming option. You call and surf in all EU countries at the same rates as in Belgium, as long as you don’t exceed your bundle or plan.
Then different rates apply. BASE offers several roaming options to help you keep your roaming costs under control.
