All about call transfer to another number

You don't have time to answer a call or just don't feel like it? With call forwarding from BASE you can easily forward all your calls to any Belgian number (landline or mobile). 

There are two possible ways:

  • with the help of the menu on your mobile phone: Follow the instructions on your mobile phone and, if you need to, consult your user manual.

  • using different codes.

You can transfer calls to another Belgian number, fixed or mobile, by using the following codes:

If you cannot answer a call:

  • To activate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): **61*[other number]#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.
  • To deactivate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): ##61#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.

If your handset is not getting a signal:

  • To activate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): **62*[other number]#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.
  • To deactivate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): ##62#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.

If you are in the middle of a call:

  • To activate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): **67*[other number]#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.
  • To deactivate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): ##67#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.

To forward all calls:

  • To activate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): **21*[other number]#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.
  • To deactivate: Enter the following code (as if it were a telephone number): ##21#. Press Call. A message appears on your screen as confirmation.

You will be charged for diverted calls at the same rate as a call.
If you transfer one of your calls to another BASE number and somebody calls you, you will be charged at the BASE rate (to a fixed line at the fixed line rate, to an international number at the roaming rate). 

Yes!

If your voicemail is on, you can still activate the call transfer. The incoming calls will then be diverted, not to your voicemail, but to the number that you have indicated.
