general and special conditions

All BASE tariffs are subject to the general conditions and the special conditions of KPN Group Belgium SA. They are intended for personal and private use and apply solely to national usage, except special numbers and third party services. You can make use of these third party services, but your use will be invoiced to you in addition to your call allowance/bundle or call credit. You pay by the second after the first minute.

For the price of calls to special numbers (070, 0900, 1207, 1307,...), please send an e-mail to base.support@kpngroup.be or call 1999 using your mobile phone via BASE (free in Belgium) or +32 (0)486 19 1999 from any telephone (chargeable).

Our options must be combined with a BASE call tariff plan. Depending on which special offers or value top-ups you already benefit from, it is possible that the number of value top-ups you can benefit from will be limited. You will be informed by text message if you exceed the maximum number of authorised simultaneous offers.

1. This offer is only valid for data transfers in Belgium. It can only be used with a mobile telephone or smartphone and any other use is prohibited.

2. For prepaid BASE cards: the 50 MB data transfers are valid for 30 days. If the volume is used up, you are free to reactivate this option as many times as you wish. For BASE subscriptions: € 5 is added automatically to your invoice every month. If you exceed the monthly volume of 50 MB included in the option, the data transfer in excess of this volume will be charged by the KB at € 0.10/MB. If you do not use these 50 MB, they cannot be carried forward to the following month.

3. For prepaid BASE cards: the 500 MB data transfers are valid for 30 days. If the volume is used up, you are free to reactivate this option as many times as you wish. For BASE subscriptions: € 10 is added automatically to your invoice every month. If you exceed the monthly volume of 500 MB included in the option, the data transfer in excess of this volume will be charged by the KB at € 0.02/MB. If you do not use these 500 MB, they cannot be carried forward to the following month.

4. Offer only valid for BASE subscriptions: the 500 MB data transfers are valid for 1 month in Belgium. € 15 is added automatically to your invoice every month. If you exceed the monthly volume of 500 MB included in the option, the data transfer in excess of this volume will be charged by the KB at € 0.02/MB. If you do not use these 500 MB, they cannot be carried forward to the following month.

To be able to guarantee optimal terms and conditions of use for you, our unlimited offers are exclusively restricted to normal personal and private use. This normal use allows you very intensive use. Only in the case of fraud (including commercial use of the contract, in particular for call centre or simbox purposes, and/or making this available to third parties), dishonest use or, more generally, use that is not in accordance with the use that could be expected of a customer who concludes a contract for mobile telephony (such as in particular the use of your mobile as a babyphone) will the terms not be applied.

Your use will, for example, be deemed fraudulent in the following cases:
- you regularly call more than 6 hours a day and/or 30 hours a week;
- you regularly call more than 3 hours without interruption and/or you make calls that are immediately resumed after being interrupted;
- you send more than 350 text messages a day and/or 10.000 text messages a month;
- you send more than 50 MMS messages a day and/or more than 400 MMS messages a month to BASE and/or e-mail addresses;
- you send more than 20 MMS messages a day and/or more than 100 MMS messages a month to other mobile networks;
- in the context of the use of data services, generates data traffic from Belgium that amounts to more than 500 MB a day and/or more than 5 GB a month.

In all these cases KPN Group Belgium reserves the right to restrict the delivery of services or to suspend and/or terminate your contract.
