how to use
There's no need for a top-up card, or a cash distributor, or even an Internet connection. You just need your mobile phone.
are you topping up for yourself?
Using your own mobile phone: text TOP to 1914, the amount you want to top up and your PIN code (for example: TOP 28 12345).
Using another BASE mobile phone: text TOP to 1914, the amount you want to top up, your PIN code, and your BASE mobile phone number (for example: TOP 14 12345 0486123456).
are you topping up for somebody else?
Text PAY to 1914, followed by the amount you want to top up, your PIN code and the BASE mobile number to top up (for example: PAY 30 12345 0486123456).
activation
Register online. Enter the BASE prepaid number(s) that you wish to top up. Indicate your preferred choice of payment (direct debit or credit card). Have you registered to top up via your current account? You will find your PIN code on your bank statements, with a transfer fee of €0.01. Have you registered to top up via a credit card? You will receive your PIN code by e-mail. You are now ready to top up!
when travelling
You can top up everywhere, at any time and even abroad. You can top up for yourself or any other customer with BASE who is being invoiced.
tips & tricks
Do you have the new BASE 128k SIM card? Simply top up via the BASE menu on your mobile phone! Select "top up" then "SMS top-up", select the amount to top up and validate. That's it! Easy and ultra fast.
