As soon as you register with m-banxafe, you will receive a 128k SIM card (value: € 10) and won't be charged. Thereafter, each time you check your bank account you will be charged € 0.25.
how to use
Once you are registered to m-banxafe, you will be able to use your mobile phone to make payments in every shop that has signed up to the Banksys pay2me service. How? It's simple: the sales assistant enters the amount of the purchase and your m-banxafe reference on their terminal. You will then receive a text message confirming that you can make the payment. All you need to do is press "ok", enter your four digit m-banxafe PIN code… and you're done. You will then receive a text confirming that the payment has been made. Ideal if you don't have enough money on you and there are no cashpoint distributors in the vicinity!
activation
Before starting, make sure that you have the new BASE 128k SIM card. You don't? Ask for it now.
At the BASE-shop: come equipped with your mobile phone and your bank card and ask a BASE sales assistant to activate the service. Enter your secret code at the Bancontact/MisterCash terminal and that's it!
At the cash distributor: Insert your Bancontact/MisterCash card in the distributor, select "Mobile phone Services" then "Activate banxafe". Enter your mobile phone number as well as your m-banxafe reference (you will find this on the BASE/m-banxafe menu of your mobile phone). Press "OK" to validate. Enter your secret code. You will receive a confirmation by text.

You'll need to be patient for a while... Pay2me isn't currently available abroad.

The m-banxafe application was perfected working in close collaboration with all the Belgian banks. It ensures secure payments comparable to Bancontact/MisterCash transactions.
