what is roaming?

Roaming is a service offered by telecom operators, that allow mobile phone users to call and be called abroad.

do I need to activate the roaming service on my mobile phone?

No it is not necessary. Whether you are a BASE prepaid or postpaid customer, there is nothing to do to benefit from the roaming service. It is automatically activated for all our customers, so you can call in complete serenity while on holiday.

  • Roaming option: for only €10, you can call for 30 minutes from France, Germany, the Netherlands and Luxemburg to Belgium, on our partners' networks.

  • Data roaming option: This option is only available for BASE customers with a monthly fee. It allows you to surf on the Internet from your mobile phone when you are abroad.

When you are abroad, it is essential to manually select the preferred network of the country where you are staying if it does not automatically appear on your mobile phone. Otherwise, you will not be able to enjoy the advantageous rates related to the data roaming option.
