Otherwise, you will not be able to enjoy the advantageous rates related to the data roaming option. Please have a look at your phone's user manual for more details about how to manually select a network abroad. |
- Check here if BASE has an agreement with a privileged partner in the country where you are going.
- To save money while you are abroad, why not send an SMS instead of making a call, this will only cost you €0.13/SMS.
Moreover, receiving an SMS inside the EU is completely free. - Should you wish to use mobile Internet abroad and not spend too much money, know the data roaming alert service is automatically activated on your mobile phone.
This service will alert you via SMS as soon as you have reached €50 data traffic abroad. You can naturally modify this limit according to your needs.

- You are staying in Europe: If you purchased your phone less than 2 years ago, it is probably bi-band and can therefore connect to most networks.
- You are travelling to the American continent or to Asia: you need to have a tri-band phone to be able to connect to the networks in those regions.
- Don't forget your charger!
- In case your phone gets lost or stolen abroad, don't panic: immediately call our customer centre to +32 486 19 1999 (payable from abroad) in order to terminate your number.
