All BASE tariffs are subject to the general terms and conditions of sale of KPN Group Belgium nv. They are for strictly normal and personal use only.
The home internet and home pack services are not compatible with an ISDN line, a Lotto terminal, an emergency telephone or a PABX switchboard.

Activation date of the service: BASE sends a text message to the mobile number indicated in your contract, with the activation date of the service for which you have subscribed. The contract period begins on this date.

special terms and conditions

(1) The home internet 12 contract lasts a minimum of 12 months. It is for strictly normal and personal use only, and is an Internet subscription of €40 per month to surf with a maximum speed of 12 Mbps. There is a one-off activation fee of €40.
(2) Promotional offer: free activation. This promotional offer is valid for any home internet to which you subscribe before 29/02/12 included.
Web deal: If you subscribe on www.base.be for a 12 month contract between the 1st of March and the 31st May 2010 included, you’ll receive a 20 euro discount on your first invoice.
(3) If you change the speed of your Internet subscription via your customer zone, then you agree to a 1-year contract for that product.
(4) The download speed is only indicative, and has no contractual consequences whatsoever. It is an average speed, which can vary depending on a number of factors: the size of the file, the type of equipment and the cable used, the location from where the document is downloaded, and the PC and the time at which it is downloaded.

In order for us to guarantee the best terms and conditions, our unlimited offers are only intended for normal personal and private use. That normal use guarantees your intensive use. The contract is only breached in the event of fraud (which includes, for example, the commercial use of the contract, by making it available to call centers and/or third parties), dishonest use, or more generally, usage that does not correspond with that expected of a customer who has signed a home internet or home pack contract.

For example: your fixed phone use is fraudulent if you regularly call more than six hours a day and/or 42 hours a week. If at any time you fail to comply with the normal terms and conditions, KPN Group Belgium nv reserves the right to restrict the supply of services or to temporarily suspend and/or terminate the contract.
